Many may not know the hours/days of continues labour that Bill has given as the acting Vice President and his personal abilities as a professional contractor/project manager for our Brookstone Community.

Many of us have seen Bill with his “yellow” golf cart painting the signs, painting the street numbers in front of our homes, traveling to the club house making repairs and a general overview of safety checks for our community.  All of this was done as a labour of LOVE for the families within this community.

Bill you will be sadly missed as a board member and seeing you drive through the neighbourhood in your yellow golf cart (dogs in tow) doing your diligence for this family community.

This competition will be a the Northgate High School campus. We are currently seeking those who have golf carts and 4 wheel ATV's that would be willing to loan them to the band for this 1 day competition on October 8, 2011. If your golf cart or ATV is idle that day let us know we'll come pick it up (please make sure its charged!)

The best of care will be taken with your property. Golf carts will be used to provide transportation to and from the parking lots for those who need assistance. As well as various other duties.

The ATV"s will be used to pull trailers no longer than 12' to transport band equipment from the parking areas to the stadium. If you are interested and would like to help and possibly volunteer yourself please call me.

Anyone who needs community volunteering hours for Beta Club, Scouts, or any other organization, this is a fun way to get plenty of hours.

Top Bands from all over Georgia will be competing including a return by Newnan High School who won the Grand Championship two years ago! Come help or just come out and watch there is plenty to do for all.

My question is if this is a violation why has the board asked  owners of golf cars to patrol our neighborhood on holloween for the safty of our chirldren?
Why has the board used my golf car for projects, maintainance and to distribrute flyers to our community?
Golf cars run 10 to 15 MPH down hill. they are electric and are not a danger.
We have enjoyed ours for five years in the neighborhood. 
Now the boards asks us to call on our neibhbors, My cart is yellow, if you see me and need to call traffic control.
Seems to me that what is good for the board, will not work for our community.

We were also told that they have tried to dig up and replace the cable several times, and each time they are turned away by a homeowner. If this cable runs through their yard, it is understandable that they do not want their yard dug up. However, this is a problem affecting an entire street in the neighborhood and it needs to be fixed.  There are homeowners who work from home and need to have internet access available. It would be helpful for homeowners to cooperate with utility companies in the event that there are problems with the utilities running through their property.

The pool was not clean and certainly didnt look as though it had been cleaned in some time! The deck (concrete) has so much spilled food that the bugs are absolutely out of control. Babies in the adult pool w/out swimmies and kids who are eating popcorn and drinking drinks 'IN THE POOL' and nobody says a word.
This is absolutely got to be addressed otherwise we will certainly call the Health Department.
How frequently is the pool and deck cleaned?
